Across the U.S., lawmakers are currently pushing legislation limiting how teachers can discuss racism and sexism in schools. In higher education, there are public issues to address–like race, racism, and politics–as well as curricular issues that should be discussed with students. Join Dr. Marcus Croom in a forum designed to have a real talk about ongoing public and curricular issues of the 21st century. This forum will introduce the Real Talk Protocol, Practice of Race Theory (PRT), and Post-White Pedagogies.
The event takes place in English.
