This practice-orientated workshop deals with the topic of diversity in higher education. Firstly, basic terms and concepts are briefly clarified and figures from the 22nd Social Survey are presented. Games, exercises and subsequent discussions will then be used to raise awareness of diversity and the associated challenges. 

The workshop will be organised by staff from the “Familienbüro” (Family Office) and the “Büro für die Belange von Studierenden mit Beeinträchtigungen" (Office for Students with Disabilities).

Awareness Weeks at the University of Hamburg from 14.10.-30.11.2024

The University of Hamburg is taking a clear stand against racism and antisemitism, promoting diversity and tolerance. Over seven weeks, PIASTA is organizing both online and on-campus events, accompanied by the #UnbequemeRealitäten campaign on social media.
