Time to Write: Kickstart your semester with Good Writing! (On Site at PIASTA)

Are you looking for a peaceful place to write and effective writing habits? Would you like to tackle your paper or other writing project this time without the stress? If so, then join us at Time to Write, where you can work alongside others in a calm, concentrated atmosphere. A student writing consultant from the Writing Center at Universität Hamburg oversees the writing period, providing writing exercises to warm up and active breaks to help you get started, stay on the ball, and see your project through.

Students and doctoral researchers in all subject areas and who wish to work in a concentrated fashion on their writing project are welcome.

The student writing consultant has been trained by the Writing Center at Universität Hamburg and can answer any questions you might have. All questions welcome – about citations, developing an outline, focusing your thesis or research question, overcoming procrastination, writing academically, or any other current concerns you have. Consultations take place in a separate room so that you and the writing consultant can talk about your work in peace.
