German Language Café (Beginners and Intermediate)

This German language café is for everyone learning German. Perhaps you’ve already attended classes or you are attending a class at Universität Hamburg. And yet, you are still finding it difficult to speak fluently. Perhaps you still search for the right words. If so, this café is for you.

The German language café is not a class and we don’t use textbooks or vocabulary lists or review grammar rules. We simply talk in German. We help you feel more confident when you speak and learn new vocabulary and idioms.

And everyone speaks as well they can: about politics, culture, hobbies, or whatever comes up. We welcome your ideas, topics, and questions. This makes the café a lively platform for linguistic and cultural exchange.

Whatever we talk about, it will be fun for you to talk to native speakers and others learning the language.
