Buddy Meet-up – Picknick in the Stadtpark

We organize buddy meetups for all participants of PIASTA’s Welcome Buddy Program: for international students as well as their welcome buddies from Universität Hamburg.

If you want to meet other buddy pairs in a relaxed atmosphere, then sign up for this buddy meetup! There are lots of topics that you have in common. What are you all studying? Does anyone live in the same part of the city? Where can you find what on campus? Who has tips for culture, nightlife, or outings in the surrounding area? Who wants to get together to do something? . . .

We’re excited to announce that this time, we’re hosting a summer picnic in Stadtpark. It’s the perfect setting to soak in the ambiance by Stadtpark Lake and relax. In June, the magical Midsummer Night offers extended daylight, creating the perfect backdrop for this event. It’s a time when many gather in the park to unwind and enjoy the evening after a day’s work.

We encourage everybody to bring food, snacks, and drinks, but there also places that sell food and beverages near the beach. We will send you an email including all relevant information before the event.

Language: The event will be held in German and/or English, so feel free to participate, regardless of the language. Our team of tutors will also be happy to speak with you in many other languages!
