Strong Body and Mind with Yoga: Get through the Week with Ease

Do you have difficulty switching off and relaxing after a long day or week at university? The digital semester may have made it all even harder. How do you switch off if you are still in the same place where you just worked? Yoga, with its holistic approach to well-being, offers countless ways of relaxing or activating your body and mind, helping you to concentrate and become a calmer person. Yoga is not a sport as such. It is for everyone and provides the help you need to live your life calmly.

A trainer from the University Sports team provides practical instruction on how to harness the power of yoga every day. On top of interesting background information and many exercises, she offers useful tips for practicing at home.

The event takes place via Zoom. All exercises are guided, and participants are welcome to join in and try them. Wear comfortable clothing and have an exercise mat ready. You can switch your camera off during the exercises if you prefer.
