If you spend a lot of time sitting, then you need to balance that out with some movement in order to improve your mental and physical performance. University Sports offers many types of sports and a flexible schedule, so that you can create the training program that best suits you.

You can choose from over 200 courses and 80 different types of sports; work out at one of the three University Sports’ fitness studios; take a swimming, water polo, triathlon, or water aerobics course; participate in the extensive online program; or discover the many water sports on the Alster.

This information session provides you with everything you need to know about the surprising number of University Sports courses as well as the terms of use.

In addition, the BEAT! project (student health management) at University Sports is here to make sure that you are content and doing well at Universität Hamburg. You should be doing well not only physically, but also mentally and socially. BEAT! therefore aims to develop health-promoting structures at Universität Hamburg that will allow you to move through your studies in a healthy and happy way.
