Hamburg by Night: Sternschanze

Mon,

18.03.2024

  • 6:00 p.m.
  • 8:00 p.m.
Sternschanze train station (U3), on the square outside in front of the subway exit

The multicultural Schanzenviertel is popular with students as a place to live and hang out. Bars, restaurants, cafés, falafel stands, second-hand stores, and boutiques line the streets of the district. The Volkshochschule (adult education center), the cinema Kino 3001, and the cultural center Rote Flora all contribute to the Schanze’s culturally diverse landscape. The heart of the Schanzenviertel is Schulterblatt, a square where visitors can eat and drink at any of the numerous pubs into the wee hours of the night. On this tour, led by PIASTA tutors, you will learn a lot about the Sternschanze district and get a few insider tips for your next outing to the Schanze!

Information about the Welcome Week and contact details for the PIASTA Welcome Team can be found on our website.
