  • 11:00 a.m.
We will email you the Zoom invitation link on the day of the event.

The State and University Library (Stabi) is the central lending and archive library for higher education institutions in Hamburg. Stabi and the specialist libraries make up Universität Hamburg’s library system. These central institutions are extremely important for your studies. You’ll find computer workstations and conference rooms in addition to books and magazines.

At this general information session, you’ll get answers to questions such as the following:

  • Where can I get a library card?
  • How can I best find books and digital media?
  • What is a “Lehrbuchsammlung” or a “Magazinbibliothek”?

And you’ll also learn how you can best search for literature online:

  • How do KatalogPlus and the subject-specific databases work?
  • What other possibilities are there to find literature online?

Take part in this information session led by the Stabi team and learn from the start how to best use the libraries for your studies!
