Most of us have grown aware of the fact that a big part of our diet should be rethought, in particular because of the effects that intensive farming has on the environment. This, however, has proven to be problematic for many eating cultures that have historically revolved around meat. The German cuisine is an example of meat being a staple of almost every meal. Many people are now faced with this dilemma: they either eat meat every day or decide to become vegetarian or vegan. In this event we are going to discuss how impactful different foods are for the environment and see how that should influence the way we eat.
