Ahoy, Elbstrand! Outing to Hamburg’s most beautiful beach

Summer, sun, beach—Hamburg can offer all that in June! You don’t believe it? Then reserve your place for our PIASTA mini-holiday and finally feel the sand between your toes again. We want to take the ferry across the Elbe to Övelgönne and enjoy the wonderful view of the harbor from the beach. Watching the ships arrive, we’ll experience Hamburg from its most beautiful side. Maybe you’ll put your feet in the water, play a round of volleyball, or just chat with the others. The main thing is that you have fun and enjoy the time outdoors.

What do I need to bring with me?

• Make sure you have your semester public transport pass with you for the ferry ride.
• Bring a blanket and something to drink and eat for the picnic.
• There are also some small take-away food places in Övelgönne, where you can buy something to eat.

Language: The event will be held in German and/or English, feel free to participate in whichever language works for you. Our team of tutors will also be happy to speak with you in many other languages!
