Let’s Go to the Beach! Outing to the Baltic Sea

Summer has arrived, the sun is shining! Fancy a trip to the sea?

Pack your bathing suit and come along to one of the nicest beaches at Lübecker Bucht. The former fishing village of Scharbeutz, often called “The Jewel of the Baltic Sea,” is now a popular resort. Come enjoy the turquoise sea, fine sandy beaches, iconic beach chairs, and seagulls fluttering about!

We will stroll along the wide beach promenade, play games, and have a nice picnic.

What do I need to bring with me?

• Make sure you have your semester public transport pass with you for the train ride.
• Bring along a snack or other delicacies for the picnic.
• Sunscreen and a supply of water are a good idea.
• A bathing suit and towel if you want take a dip in the cool sea.

Let’s enjoy that vacation feel, the cool sea breeze, and, hopefully, the sun!
