PIASTA and Junge Freunde! Discover your favorite works of art at the Hamburger Kunsthalle

Thu,

09.01.2025

  • 6:45 p.m.
  • 9:00 p.m.
Hamburger Kunsthalle, Glockengießerwall 5, in the foyer in front of the museum shop

Dawdling about in a museum is all the more fun in a group! That is why the "Junge Freunde" (Young Friends) team wants to show you our favorite pieces and the museum on a tour of the Hamburger Kunsthalle. Our tour provides you with a relaxed space for philosophizing and discussing art with people who share an interest in art. Joy is a top priority. Your degree program or your level of knowledge about art do not matter at all. After the event, we can (weather permitting) enjoy a cold drink together in a relaxed atmosphere to wind down the Thursday evening.

Housing a permanent collection which spans nearly 8 centuries, the Hamburger Kunsthalle is one of the few museums that offers a tour of European art history from the Middle Ages to the present day—one of the most important public art collections in Germany. In addition, the Kunsthalle regularly hosts temporary exhibitions on a wide variety of topics.

The "Junge Freunde" team is part of the Friends of the Kunsthalle team, which actively supports the museum. The team of 3 organizes events for people up to age 35 and strives to bring them in touch with our museum and Hamburg’s art and culture scene.
