Racism permeates all levels of society, but talking about it is difficult. Nobody wants to be racist, and many are reluctant to engage with the term.

Tupoka Ogette, the author of Exit racism.Rassismuskritisch denken lernen, aims to introduce her readers to anti-racist ways of thinking. In her lecture, she takes us on a thoughtful journey of reflection and self-reflection and encourages us to incorporate anti-racist perspectives into our own lives.

Racism excludes people and deprives them of resources; it disadvantages, hurts, and causes conflict. Tupoka Ogette wants to stimulate dialogue, self-reflection, and a change of perspective. Talking about racism and our own entanglement in this system is an important first step toward actively combating it.
