Buddy Meet-up – Guided tour through the beautiful Speicherstadt

For everyone participating in PIASTA’s Welcome Buddy Program, including both international students and their Welcome Buddies from Universität Hamburg, we are organizing Buddy meet-ups!

Looking to meet other Buddy pairs in a laid-back setting? Come to our Buddy meet-up! It’s the perfect place to discuss common interests and experiences. Discover what other people are studying, find out who lives in your neighborhood, learn about campus, and share recommendations for cultural activities, nightlife, and local trips. You might even find some like-minded students eager to make plans with!

Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Speicherstadt is a striking testament to historical and modern architecture. Its 19th-century structures seamlessly blend with contemporary designs, making it one of Hamburg’s most iconic photographic backdrops. This district is unparalleled for its picturesque beauty! During the tour with the PIASTA tutors, you'll learn about the Speicherstadt district and its rich history. And, weather permitting, there’s no better spot in Hamburg to watch the sunset!

Language: This event will be in German and/or English, so feel free to participate, regardless of your preferred language. Our tutors are also multilingual and eager to communicate with you in several other languages.
